Ivan Draganov, Lead Foodtech Analyst at will give us the European perspective on the current investment trends in the industry with a keynote.

The online event will focus on startup pitches. An investor-expert panel will analyze the startups in more depth during the Q&A. During small breaks, you can specifically address the teams in individual virtual rooms to gain deeper personal insight. The event connects to the Food Startup Campus, which will take place on Sept. 30, 2021.


Ivan is leading’s intelligence efforts on FoodTech. Previously Ivan worked on the development of data-driven investment tools and equity research of internet stocks at ABN AMRO Bank. Ivan has a background in econometrics and financial economics. “FoodTech is still a young market in Europe overall. In Europe, food delivery companies received 65% of total VC investments since 2015. However, I am excited when I look beyond food delivery. Early-stage categories like alternative proteins, food waste management, vertical farming and farm automation will have a much bigger environmental and social impact.”
